Junior Church
Our Junior Church program is designed to help the children 3 yrs old through the 4th grade to learn the Bible in a similar fashion to their parents. We try to train the children by treating the time like adult church. We have a singing time and an offering as well as a Bible story time. This is a time of excitement and fun while learning God's Word. Our teachers are trained and skilled. They love children and have a passion for God and His Word. Our Junior Church program is designed to help the children 3 yrs old through the 4th grade to learn the Bible in a similar fashion to their parents. Kid's Club
Program
Our Kid's Club program is for children ages 3 - 6th grade. The program includes games, a Bible lesson time, special activity time, etc. The program challenges children to memorize the Bible while encouraging them to work in partnership with one another. Children are taught Biblical family values, how to become better listeners, and they are encouraged to get the family involved with what is taught by helping them with their memory work. Friends and family are encouraged to attend the activities held throughout the year.
Teachers
All teachers in Kid's Club have taught before and have a burden for children to learn the Bible. The children of today must learn the Bible and the fact that God loves them. We want to help with that goal.
Parents
As always in a program here at EBC parents are encouraged to ask questions and to sit in on one class to see how it functions.
Time
Kid's Club runs all year long with a break for Christmas. Kid's Club meets each Wednesday night from 7:00 - 8:05 P.M.
Bible Study
Children can enjoy Kid's Club time while their parents attend our Wednesday evening bible study service.
Bus Ministry
We run a bus each Wednesday for Kid's Club. If you are interested in riding please call the church.

Teens
Luke 2:52 says, “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour
with God and man.” Our goal in youth ministry is to aid our young people
in social, physical, mental and spiritual growth.
In order to accomplish this goal, we have strategically planned
activities, trips, camps, service projects, and church services (Sunday
School, Wednesday Night, etc.) to aid in accomplishing the goals that we
have set-up.
Ultimately, we want to see every teen: come to a saving knowledge
of Jesus Christ, surrender their life to Christ in whatever area that He may
have for them, and serve Him in the area in which they have been called to.

Sunday School
Purpose
The purpose of the Sunday school department at Emmanuel Baptist Church is "To glorify God through teaching that will change lives in a loving atmosphere."
Textbook
Will be the King James Bible with Bible study helps.
Curriculum
The Bible will be set forth in a systematic manner including, topically, specific themes, by chapter and verse, and principles addressing certain current issues. These studies will make proper divisions according to age, grade or grouping of people. All curriculum is approved before it is used. The methods of study and teaching will involve lecture, group discussion and Bible lessons. For most Children we use the RBP curriculum.
Teachers
Must be members of EBC whose lives are examples children can look to. Only teachers who have good testimonies and are proven Christian examples, are asked to teach. All teachers must sign information questionnaires to be approved by leadership to have the opportunity to serve as a teacher. Various training sessions are provided for teachers to improve there skills. Teachers encourage parents to ask questions about any area of the classroom.
Facility
Our Sunday School wing is spacious, secure, thoroughly cleaned, and well maintained for the church family. Parents are encouraged to visit their children's classrooms on occasion. The Sunday School classrooms can be found in the back portion of the church building along with upstairs Sunday School rooms for grades 1st through 12th.

Music
Why We Sing the Kind of Music that We Sing
Music is a very important issue in today’s society. Often a decision to attend a church is determined by the music that is found in that church. Because of this very important truth, we would like to share with you why we sing the music that we sing here at Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Music is mentioned over 460 times in the Bible. In many of these instances music is mentioned as a direct form of worship to God. God has placed great emphasis on music in the Bible. God has outlined some principles in the Bible that we should use as a guide to determine if the music that we hear is appropriate or God-honoring.
The most important principle is does the music honor and glorify God. Our music ought to reflect God’s character. It ought to be pleasing to Him. The first question we should ask ourselves is “Does the music I listen to honor God?”
Secondly, our music ought to be separated from the world. There ought to be a distinct difference between the music that is in the world and the music that is in the church. Contemporary Christian Music tries to erase that line. They adopt the philosophy that we need to be like the world in order to win the world. We at Emmanuel Baptist Church believe that our music needs to be distinctly different than that of the world.
Finally, our music ought to be for worship. It is the desire of those in the music ministry of Emmanuel Baptist Church to glorify God, edify believers, and reach the unsaved. Our goal is not to entertain, but to glorify God and worship Him.
Our music here at Emmanuel Baptist Church is strictly guided by these three principles. We pray and trust that our music will always be honoring to God, distinct from the world, and aimed at the heart of the individual.
Emmanuel Baptist Church Choir
One of the staples of a Sunday morning service at Emmanuel is the choir. The 30+ member choir meets before the morning and evening services to practice and performs special cantatas and programs.

Visitation
The purpose of our Visitation Program is to number one, encourage; number two, meet practical needs; number three, disciple; and number four, share the Gospel. There is an ongoing Visitation Program that takes place among our people on a regular basis.
Acts 1:8, "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." We believe Winchester is our Jerusalem.
Added to these things, of course, is the regular Pastoral Visitation of people involving the various needs that we as human beings have. Do you have a Bible question or Spiritual need? Would you like to have someone come along side and encourage you in a non-pressure, confidential manner? If we can help please call or write to contact the Pastoral Staff.
